The Faulkner Tarot The First Modern Photographic Tarot deck

Wow what an amazing Deck this is, created by Rhiannon Faulkner. This new deck is amazing. The author who created this has really took tarot to a new dimension, using real life images of people she knows ,with photographic images in black and white, with a real down to earth easy to understand feel, such a transformation to the original Tarot of the old school that we usually are familiar with. The images to these cards are easy to work with, anyone can use them from the novice to the more adept. With images of real life people and cars, and atms,the London wheel.

Psy cards a new dimension to the Tarot...

There are 40 cards is this deck . The cards are grouped into 5 main categories: Direction cards, fundamentals, symbols, archetypes, characters, and happenings.

This is another addition to my huge deck of Tarot and Oracle collection. They really get into the Psyche and touch on the most deeper issues that are going on around and within your life.  They show very powerful symbols that stands out for something else, like a signpost. Which work on different levels,intellectual and emotional. Over the years maybe for hundreds and thousands of years, individual powerful symbols have worked themselves into the wiring of our brains!
A symbol is often a bridge that links two different areas of human experience.

I love this deck as it goes deep and very different from the usual Tarot deck, they have such a powerful influence in its own right. Its influence is modified by those cards near it, as with the traditional tarot! giving very accurate readings, i wouldn't  really recommend this deck  to the novice who is learning to read cards or hasn't developed their psychic ability ,as they are more for a professional reader. As they take alot of focus and intuition to really delve into things.

Also i want to add that there are 3 cards in this deck. the Now, Yes, No ,and Never which is very good for straight forward questions you want immediate , yes no answers to!

Robin Wood Tarot

Today i have decided to use the Robin Wood Deck for my daily tarot.

Wow what  a mix this is, 3 major cards, so I'm thinking today is going to be one of importance, or rather my life at the moment is going through some very major changes, The fool shows a fresh new beginning and perhaps stepping out into unknown territory  which seems quite daunting to say the least , seeing as i usually like to stick to what i know. Its all about stepping out of my comfort zone and the apprehension I'm feeling regarding this, i already am aware of this , so I'm not surprised these cards have shown up for me today! 

The world is showing fulfilment will at last be mine , the fact that all the lessons have or are about to be learnt and I'm at last reaching my goal and its about to happen.

 The death card shows me that i need to let go of my comfort zone and to not be afraid of the changes that I'm going through right now , as its very much needed, and that the new beginning will be positive as long as i think things through and be sensible , I'm happy to have received these 3 cards today actually as i have been pretty worried of these changes that i am aware of , not that they are negative, its life changing for me and its what I've always been striving for.

Daily Cards

Taken from Today's Journey 

Today i have pulled 3 cards from my new deck , this is the first reading I've done with these cards, so bare with me and they are pretty new to me, as I'm more use to the more traditional style of Tarot cards,so these cards should bring some new insight to my readings, as they take on a more modern feel. so here goes this is what my day will bring , according to this deck............

OK the Four of Water ( 4 of cups )  opportunity, shows me that the beginning of my day begins with the feeling that i am not seeing opportunities that are around me , and the fact that the ground is wet shown on the card, how interesting as its raining today! so would be predicting the weather lol. 

It shows me walking around and not seeing where I'm going and completely absorbed in something and not talking notice of the world around me..well that don't surprise me as this is me.

Its almost telling  me to look up and take notice otherwise i could miss something being offered to me.

The Six of Fire.( 6 of wands ) Leadership, victory,Triumph...so this tells me that today is going to be on triumph and success, wow, others may be looking to me for leadership and to help show them the way. I'm being told to celebrate my victory and according the above card this could be an offer of help I'm giving to others and it is very much appreciated. So maybe i shall i notice this new offer that is coming my way after all , rather than looking down at the ground .

Materialism (Devil) Whoa the dreaded Devil card...actually i don't mind this card , even though it puts the wind up many others, but i get the feeling with this card that someone could be deceiving me or vice versa, hmmm what i believe to be true could be an illusion! now i didn't expect this today, so il let this one play out and see what comes to light.  I need to reevaluate my surroundings or people and perhaps find my own truth!

So all on all its going one of them days with challenges and taking note of whats around me, and not to feel disillusioned with situations or what others say or do to me, and victory coming my way and achieving my best at the task i need to be doing today.

Todays Journey Tarot  Expanding Dimensions

I would like to share with you, my new Deck Today's Journey (expanding dimensions) Tarot.

Arrived today, i have been waiting some time for these cards to arrive, in deep anticipation and excitement as  always feel when Ive ordered a new deck and the waiting seems like forever, so at last they've arrived. :-) So i thought i would share my excitement with you, these lovely cards, here are some images above ,i shall be posting up more .

The most interesting thing is, when i was giving them a  good old shuffle and getting to know them as you do, 1 particular card jumped out the pack with force that i felt compelled to take in what the cards message was for me.
The Union card...how interesting , this would be the Lovers in more traditional deck , as these cards are very up to date and not like your usual Ryder Waite inspired.
So going back to the card jumping out at me.. id say it was welcoming me and giving me the go ahead to use my intuition and i must say, these cards have great art work and the message i pick up with the union card was that i have  my guide around me to help and show me how to connect with these cards,which is most reassuring, and the fact that i will bond well with perseverance , and that i shall.

So il keep you posted with this intriguing deck, perhaps i shall use them for the daily cards , i haven't managed to post up yet today as with getting so distracted with the excitement of my new deck.
